Steve Goldstein is a Senior Consultant to New Hampshire based tech startup WINNINGALGORITHMS. He previously served as head of corporate communications for DOW JONES / The Wall Street Journal and Chief Communications Officer for TIAA. Steve was a presidential appointee in charge of Public Affairs at the U.S. Department of the Interior.
Caroline King is a seasoned insurance executive with over 25 years of experience in consulting and insurance and currently serves as Senior Vice President of Business Strategy, Technology and Operations for CNA. Caroline works jointly with the leaders of Information Technology, Worldwide Operations and Procurement to advance CNA’s strategic direction to optimize the services provided to customers, agents and brokers, and employees.
Prior to joining CNA, Caroline served as Senior Vice President of Global Operations at Chubb, where she was responsible for merger integration initiatives. In her role as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Chubb, Caroline provided results-oriented consulting services across the organization. Prior to joining Chubb, Caroline led strategic planning, business transformation, and financial management programs in her roles as a Managing Director, Global Strategy & Consulting for AIG, and as a Partner in Strategy and Operations for Deloitte Consulting.
Caroline holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biopsychology from Cornell University and a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Columbia University’s Business School in New York.
Al-Husein N. Madhany
Al-Husein N. Madhany serves on the advisory board of C-Suite Executive Support Professionals, a national organization that helps expand the scope of the administrative assistant role into a strategic business partner one, through education and coaching.
With advanced degrees from Harvard, Georgetown, and the University of Chicago, Al-Husein has consulted domestically and internationally within both the private and public sectors on philanthropy, civic engagement, corporate social responsibility, and leadership development.
Al-Husein was a professor at Georgetown University and is a member of the Pacific Council on International Policy. He has served on the Council on Foreign Relations and was recently an Aspen Ideas Scholar. Al-Husein was also a senior fellow at the George Washington University Center for Cyber and Homeland Security and has served on the advisory board for the Abbasi Program in Islamic Studies at Stanford University.
In his free time, Al-Husein serves as senior advisor to Patheos.com, a startup that has quickly become the premier online destination to explore and experience the world's beliefs. Al-Husein lives in Cupertino with his wife and two children, where he enjoys running and volunteer teaching in his daughter’s elementary school.
Eileen is the former CEO of Pathmark Supermarkets. Upon being named Chief Executive Officer in 2002, she became the first women CEO of a U.S. public supermarket company as well as one of only seven female CEOs of Fortune 500 companies. Today she advises companies and organizations on business strategy and organizational effectiveness. Eileen is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Perdue Farms, Inc. and serves on the advisory committees of two woman-owned businesses.
She is a past board member of Dollar Tree Stores, the Food Bank for New York City and the Girl Scouts of the USA. Eileen has been an invited speaker at many events and networking functions across various industries in the New
York area, including ACG (Association for Corporate Growth) and NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors).
She had the privilege of giving the commencement address to the graduating class at her college alma mater, William
Paterson University, and of being the key note speaker to the honors class at the Carroll School of Management at Boston
College. Eileen holds a BS in Business Administration from William Paterson University and an MBA in Finance from NYU’s
Stern School of Business.
John Spagnuolo | Senior Director of Communications & Engagement, TIAA
John is currently Senior Director of Communications and Engagement at TIAA, managing internal communications, corporate culture and human capital programs for more than 8,000 employees across the United States.
Prior to TIAA, John was Vice President of Integrated Communications and Insurance Industry Spokesperson for the Insurance Information Institute. Considered the insurance industry's "new media guru", John has consulted to chief communications executives of top insurance and financial services companies around the world, advising them on new technologies in communications and media relations.
John earned his Masters Degree in Strategic Communications from Columbia University and his B.S. in Marketing from Rutgers University.
